Every Christmas, I love bringing one of my Fit Farmyard Friends back to life with a cozy holiday twist — and this year, it’s Pumpy Pig! Meet Pumpy Claus, the chubbiest little helper at the North Pole, dressed in his bright red overalls and tiny Santa belt.

This amigurumi pig pattern is made with soft cotton yarn, and even though it looks detailed, it’s actually simple enough for a beginner to intermediate crocheter. The result is a warm, huggable toy that instantly brings a smile — perfect for decorating your desk, gifting a friend, or adding a handmade touch to your Christmas tree.

ASSEMBLY

Use a tapestry needle to sew everything neatly together. A touch of embroidery for his smile or a small snowflake stitched on the overalls will make your crochet pig pattern truly unique.

Sew the head to the body, stuff firmly before close.
Sew the arms to the body from round 24 to round 30.
Sew the snout to the head from round 14 to round 20.
Sew the ears to the head from round 4 to round 13.
Use white yarn to embroider the highlight on the side of the eyes.
Use black yarn to sew the nose, and the eyebrows.
Use orange yarn to embroider a square at the black belt.
Wear the hat to the head.
