Some toys feel strong and gentle at the same time.
This crochet teddy bear was inspired by that small balance.
A round little bear, calm eyes, soft muzzle — and a bright green outfit that feels just a little heroic.
The Greenfroge Bear carries a playful spirit.
Not loud. Not dramatic. Just a quiet character in a slightly oversized sweater and shorts, ready to stand on a small desk or sit beside a crochet basket.

About the Pattern
Greenfroge Bear is designed as a beginner-friendly crochet bear pattern with simple construction and low sewing.
This crochet teddy bear is made with simple materials that many crocheters already have at home.
A small amount of semi-cotton sport yarn, a 2.2 mm crochet hook, and 6 mm safety eyes are enough to create a finished toy about 13 cm tall.
You’ll also need a few basic tools: scissors, fiberfill stuffing, stitch markers, and a yarn needle for finishing.

If you prefer a softer, plush texture, this same crochet teddy bear pattern can also be made with thicker yarn.
Using plush yarn (weight #4) and a 4 mm hook, the bear grows to about 26 cm tall.
The shape stays the same, but the character feels larger and a little softer in your hands.
