I’m using this semi-cotton yarn, with the colors being varied, you can use your own choice colors, or as mine used. This kind of yarn is a 4-ply yarn that you can buy it online easily on ETSY. I’m also using hook size 2.3 mm and Hamanaka is one of my favorite brands, find Hamanaka hook on ETSY.
Try with other sport weight yarns that you have been familiar with. I recommend using Yarnart Jeans as an alternate, buy online with 30% off here. Besides, you will need some extra kinds of stuff as follows:
- Scissors, pins, needles, stuffings.
For your information, I have shared a post about my best yarn for amigurumi projects? You can read there to have more choices on choosing amigurumi yarns.
Some notes:
- For a better result, use single crochet cross stitch (yarn under) and invisible single crochet decrease stitch.
- Work in a continuous spiral unless otherwise specified.

The last pedicel instruction for the tomato says “(6X) into the last ch” – what kind of stitch?
Hi Sheri, it’s a typo, my mistake. It should be “(6SC) into the last ch”
Thank you!
The pdf emailed to me contains patterns for tomato, winter melon and radish. How can I get the patterns for the rest of the vegetables (carrot, cabbage, mushroom, etc?
Hi Sheri, thanks for asking!
I haven’t updated the PDF file, will do it and get back to you soon. Have a great time!

Hi there,
Would I be permitted to sell the finished product on Etsy?
Yes, you can with proper credit to me as the designer! Thank you so much! Happy crocheting!
I’m currently working on the reddish, I’m on the second leaf but I feel like the instructions are missing parts. Should I have three ‘bumps’ on one side and one ‘bump’ on the other? The 36 stitches I count that work around to make the leaf don’t add up to how many stitches around there are to make it down one side and back up the other to meet the base to slip stitch

Hi Kelsey, thanks for making it. There is a video tutorial that could help you. Please watch here https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=3VjFRhCQx8c
