Free Crochet Heart Pattern

Start with purple yarn.
Work in rows, slst into the first stitch to finish, and chain 1 at the end of each row.
Chain 10, and stitches are now working on both sides of the foundation chain.
- 1: sc into the 2nd chain from the hook, 2 sc, 3sctog, 2 sc, [3 sc into the same stitch, 3 sc] * 2, inc (20)
Change to blue yarn.
- 2: inc, sc, 3sctog, sc, 3 inc, 4 sc, 3 sc into the same stitch, 4 sc, 2 inc (26)
Change to green yarn.
- 3: inc, sc, 3sctog, sc, 3 inc, 7 sc, 3 sc into the same stitch, 7 sc, 2 inc (32)
Change to yellow yarn.
- 4: 2 inc, 3sctog, 5 inc, 9 sc, 3 sc into the same stitch, 9 sc, 3 inc (42)
Change to orange yarn.

Change to red yarn.

Fasten off.
Join red yarn into the 31st stitch of round 6, and work:
- 7: BLO 53 sc (53)
- 8: 53 sc (53)
Fasten off the 1st piece, and do not cut the 2nd piece.

Cut two heart-shaped cardboard pieces following the size shown in, then put them into the finished crocheted pieces.
Put two pieces back to back. Insert the hook into the back loop of both pieces, and work: 53 slst (53)
Stuff between the cardboard before closing.

Fasten off, weave in the ends.
